Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

One of Singapore’s most iconic fruits—the durian! Using bold strokes and textured layers, Joseph wanted to capture the spiky, vibrant energy of the durians in a dynamic and playful way. The bright yellow background reflects the fruit’s rich, golden flesh, while the abstract approach gives a fresh and modern twist to this beloved tropical delicacy. It’s his way of honoring Singapore’s unique food culture through art.
